The Swiss architect Werner Max Moser designed a whole range of furniture for Embru. Despite their similarity to the well-known Bauhaus models, his designs were always characterised by the Swiss philosophy of practical furniture.
Embru has been producing the free-swinging armchair, designed in 1930, in its original version again since 2002. Only the seat adjustment has been optimised with a simple one-handed mechanism.
The extended version as a high-back chair followed two years after the original design. Its split back cushion and neck roll provide additional seating comfort and formally define the support area for the shoulders and head.
With armrests available in various wood finishes and a wide range of colours for the standard upholstery fabrics, the Moser high-back armchair can be configured to suit individual tastes.
