Urban living at the Residenz Stadtpark

In Uster’s Stadtpark, EM2N and Grego Architektur have constructed the 15- and 13-storey new building for the Atlas Foundation, which operates around 81 retirement flats in the two towers. On the ground floor, alongside the Residenz restaurant, is the public restaurant ‘Zentrale’, which opens out onto the park.

With the use of the ‘Park Chair’ in the ‘Zentrale’ restaurant, the historic ‘Haefeli’ chair in the residents’ restaurant and the ‘Altorfer Spaghetti’ chairs for the lounge, Embru was able to supply the key pieces of outdoor furniture for the development. The accent colour of green, which is also used on the Haefeli garden tables, blends perfectly into the park setting.
