The latest addition to the Altorfer product range is manufactured using the same tried-and-tested construction method, featuring hot-dip galvanised round steel tubing and PVC cords in 12 cheerful colours. The lounge chair and armchair invite you to relax and are a perfect match for the Haefeli garden lounge table.

Huldreich Altorfer

1911–1980

Huldreich Altorfer Junior joined Embru in 1934 as a commercial clerk. At that time, his father was the company’s director. A few years after his father’s death, Huldreich Altorfer Junior was promoted to deputy director in 1942. At the end of 1944, he left Embru and founded his own metal furniture factory, Altorfer AG, in Wald and Oberdürnten. In 1971, Embru reacquired this company and, with it, the rights to the Altorfer products.
