Classrooms to help shape

A key guiding principle for TF Architektur was to refurbish and extend the existing building to create space for the educational concepts. Learning and working are permitted throughout the new school building; for example, in the high-ceilinged assembly hall, which resembles a market square and where the furniture can be rearranged to create personalised learning spaces. The tables along the windows in each of the seven classrooms offer alternatives to traditional school desks. Teamwork is encouraged in the group rooms. These are situated between the classrooms and are naturally lit from above via a skylight. The sturdy and minimalist furniture by Embru blends perfectly into the learning spaces and supports the open, flexible learning environment both functionally and aesthetically.
