Information

The height-adjustable stools can be quickly adjusted from sitting to standing height using a gas lift. This ensures a varied working experience. Thanks to the wide range of finishes available, the Stool 2100 series is suitable for use in various settings.

  • Stool seat made from ergonomically shaped wooden parts, natural beech colour
  • Seat surface is slip-resistant
  • Either a four-leg frame with a fixed height or a five-star base with adjustable height
  • Various heights and adjustment ranges
  • Frame available in bright-galvanised or powder-coated finishes in accordance with the Embru standard collection (only for models 2171, 2172 and 2173)
  • Glides
  • Double-swivel castors (only on model 2152)
  • Foot ring: standard on models 2171 and 2173, optional on other models
  • Optional CPL Coral wooden parts in accordance with the Embru standard collection

Christophe Marchand

1965

Christophe Marchand

Christophe Marchand, born in Fribourg in 1965, trained as a cabinetmaker and studied industrial design at the Zurich School of Design. He has been teaching at Écal, the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne, since 1990. In 1993, he opened his own studio, where he develops furniture and products for companies such as Intertime, Zanotta, Alias and Thonet.

He works as a consultant for Embru in various areas. Among other things, he designed the Marchand armchair, as well as the Atelier chair, which was conceived as a school chair but soon found its way into offices and studios.
