Flexible, functional and locally produced – Embru is shaping the working world of the future with Swiss furniture in the new Giessen Service Centre.

The new Giessen Service Centre (DLG) in Vaduz marks a milestone for the Liechtenstein State Administration – and we at Embru are proud to be part of this forward-looking project. Interior designer Sandra von Petersdorff has realised a furnishing concept that not only reflects modern working environments but also actively helps to shape them.

The design concept follows the principles of New Work: openness, flexibility and well-being. In this modern building in the heart of Vaduz, Sandra von Petersdorff has created office spaces tailored to the diverse needs of the staff. Key elements include four clearly defined zones, including a spacious collaboration zone surrounded by versatile workspaces. Embru supplied the matching storage units with a wood-effect finish and a batch locking system.

Our furniture – functional, flexible, Swiss

For the DLG, we supplied modular storage units in classic white – Made in Switzerland. A particular highlight is our new desk module, which is positioned between two adjacent workstations: it can be fitted with a box that provides space for plants. This not only creates a natural privacy screen, but also an environment that actively promotes staff wellbeing.

The furniture concept has been designed to remain flexible and adapt to future changes – whether due to new requirements, growing teams or changing ways of working. The open-plan layout, combined with acoustically optimised solutions, provides the ideal environment for both focused work and creative collaboration.
