The new Bachtal School in Ennetbaden, with its wave-shaped cladding elements, is reminiscent of the meandering River Limmat, whilst also blending elegantly with a canopy from the neighbouring building. The classrooms encourage collaboration, exchange, interaction, quiet study, relaxation and physical activity, and are optimally equipped with the appropriate furniture from Embru. Particularly impressive is how Embru has innovatively combined the wall-mounted board system – interactive displays are paired with classic hanging and strip boards. Height-adjustable school desks with separately insertable felt privacy screens allow for individual work or can be used as an efficient solution for exam papers. The gas-spring-operated, height-adjustable desks and the eQ storage system also form an integral part of the furnishing concept, with their colours harmonising throughout the entire building, right up to the headteacher’s office. A well-thought-out project that inspires from concept to completion.
