The furnishings of the notary’s office in Affoltern am Albis play a central role in Hobiger Feichtner’s overall architectural concept. Using modular storage units and ergonomic desks from Embru, an environment has been created that is both functional and impressive. The furniture blends seamlessly with the materials used in the rooms and complements the clear, structured layout.

A combination of warm and cool materials

A play of colours between calm and accent

The chosen colour combination of black and dark blue lends the storage units depth and elegance without overwhelming the space. These calm tones form a deliberate contrast to the light, natural materials and really bring out details such as the rounded shapes of the tables. In the communal areas, splashes of colour – such as dusky pink kitchen units or ochre-coloured tiles – add lively accents and emphasise the project’s design diversity.

The height-adjustable work tables with white powder-coated frames combine technical sophistication with aesthetic restraint. Their rounded columns and leg extensions, as well as the gently curved table tops made of natural linoleum, not only ensure a pleasant tactile experience but also create a modern, open feel. The work tables thus form a stylishly understated complement to the furniture designed specifically for the project by the architectural practice.
