In autumn 2023, Embru fitted out the premises of the Rapperswil Coworking Space. For a project like this to succeed, it requires many steps. Embru was able to support the project from start to finish. Discover the steps involved in this project documentation.

1. Submission of planning data

The first step is for you to send us your floor plan. During a consultation, we’ll go through the planning data with you. However, our team can also work with rough room specifications. Just get in touch.

Needs Analysis

How many workstations should the new office have? What kind of seating arrangement would you like to implement? Where will the meeting table be positioned? Are there any structural or design elements required in the space to visually separate different areas? What sort of atmosphere should the premises have, and what should the noise level be? During the needs analysis, we clarify your individual requirements. We’d be happy to visit you for this – or you’re welcome to visit one of our showrooms.

2. Selecting and configuring the furniture

Now it’s time to choose your products. Would you like height-adjustable desks? How much storage space do you need? Should the compartments be lockable with a badge?

3D visualisation

Using specialised interior design software, we place the products directly into the virtual space and generate 3D views. This allows you to try out different layouts with minimal effort and present the options to your team in a visually appealing way.

Choose from a wide range of finishes and textiles to create the desired atmosphere for your new office.

Aesthetics and function

Contemporary workspaces are inviting and cosy. This involves more than just the arrangement of furniture in the room. This is where colours and materials come into play. Textiles and plants, in particular, contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. All Embru furniture can be customised. We would be happy to advise you on the available solutions.

Made in Rüti

Embru is committed to Switzerland as a production location: the eQ system has been manufactured at the Rüti site since 2003. The high level of vertical integration enables us to maintain the quality standard for the modular range with its long service life. Around 200 people work for Embru. Half of them are employed in skilled trades. We offer interested visitors the opportunity to take a guided tour of the factory and showrooms. The Rüti site is also home to the new museum, which houses a collection of historic design classics.
